When the earthquake hit Haiti, America and the world community answered with a tremendous amount of help and Haiti Relief Fund was ready. While it was not possible for most NGO’s to get to Haiti because of heavy damage at the port in Port-au-Prince, we took our 1st 40′ container to Santo Domingo in order to get it to Haiti. The cost was almost triple, but we got the help to the people and it was a success.

Haiti Relief Fund has been doing much emergency relief work in Haiti since this tragic earthquake it Haiti. Our work includes multiple distributions of relief goods from our distribution center in Haiti, dispatch of HRF trucks loaded with donated relief goods including water, foods, clothing, personal hygiene items, tents, etc. throughout the diverse make shift tent cities in Port-au-Prince. HRF also donated 2 40′ Containers filled with relief goods with about 87 tents to L’athletic d’Haiti, to help the many families living under tents throughout its soccer fields in Port-au-Prince Haiti. Haiti Relief Fund also provides trucks for debris removal and rebuilding efforts.
Haiti Relief Fund has a focus on health care in Haiti by supporting and distributing donated medical supplies and medical equipment to major public hospitals in Haiti.

Building Schools for Underprivileged Children
This program is to help educate underprivileged children in remote rural areas in Haiti. In most of the rural areas there are thousands of children that don’t and cannot go to school because their are no school to go to. Haiti Relief Fund’s educational development is to build and financially support the school budget yearly, monitor the children’s educational progress throughout their years of learning.
