June 2, 2011: Cholera outbreak in Carrefour with over 250 people infected overnight, following at a rate of 50 a day. The Mairie of Carrefour called for an emergency meeting to take action against this epidemic. Here the Mairie welcome any help the NGO’s can provide within their capacities collaboratively.

However, the NGO’s are not willing to work collaboratively. It is looks like contractors in a competitive bid with the exception of Medecins Sans Frontieres which is already doing good work in Haiti and also has the will to collaborate.

If the NGO’s mean to help Haiti and the Haitian people we must collaborate, that means working together.

June 3, 2011: With an outbreak of cholera in Haiti, Haiti Relief Fund donates chlorine bleach to Mr. Robinson Eugene for section 11 Riviere Foide and Section 16 Taifet communes of Carrefour the most affected, Carrefour with a population of 700,000 under siege.

June 2, 2011: Haiti Relief Fund donates protein drinks, oral serum and Chlorine Bleach to Centre De Sante Braiziliene Bainet, Haiti to help fight Cholera.

June 3, 2011: Haiti Relief Fund donates barrels for Cholera prevention at Athletic d’Haiti Port-au-Prince, Haiti.

June 2, 2011: Haiti Relief Fund donates chlorine bleach to 13 communes of Carrefour to help fight Cholera.
