Haiti Relief Fund President Carlo Thertus just returned from another mission in Haiti distributing medical supplies and equipment and accessing the needs of the educational institutions around Port Au Prince.

Medical equipment is much needed and we will like to thank the Rotary Club of Arlington, NY, St Francis Hospital of Delaware, Vassar Brother Medical Center of Poughkeepsie, NY, St Francis Hospital of Poughkeepsie, NY, Northern Dutchess Hospital of Rhinebeck, NY and Putnam Hospital Center of Camel, NY for their generous equipment donations which valued at over $100,000. And a very special thank you to Ms. Jennifer Atkinson, Paul Cazzolla, Ernest Baptiste and Raymond Norat for helping make this donation possible.

Hospital l’Universite d’Etat is a public hospital serving walk ins and people from all over Haiti. This hospital serves hundreds of people everyday.

Monday October 25, 2010: At just 8 am in the morning, you will see how busy this hospital is helping the general public. Serving about 300 to 400 patients a day is why we chose to donate to this hospital delivering Medical Equipment and Medical Supplies to Hospital l’Universite de La Paix, the second largest hospital in the country.
