HRF receives large donation of medical supplies

May 26th: Haiti Relief Fund received a very large donation of over $100,000 of medical equipment and pharmaceuticals. The various equipment includes an X-ray machine, a sonogram machine and 6 incubators. This equipment is greatly needed and will help improve the quality of medical care in Haiti.

Haiti Relief Fund Inc. - Working Together We Can  Help the Earthquake Victims

May 22nd: on Sunday, May 16th, ten-year-old Ornichleel Ulysse and her mother arrived at Kennedy Airport in New York from Port au Prince, Haiti. She became a below-knee amputee after being injured in the tragic January 12th earthquake. She spent the week receiving prosthetic care donated by A Step Ahead, represented by Philip Kreuter in photo’s front right. In photo back right is Henry Thertus who represented Haiti Relief Fund. Henry served as the interpreter to assist the process for the week while she was receiving prosthetic care, interpreter services donated by Haiti Relief Fund. Haiti Relief Fund Inc. would like to thank Mr. Erik Schaffer from A Step Ahead and the staff for their great work. Haiti Relief Fund Inc. would also like to send our best wishes to Ornichleel and her family.

May 21st: T-Pain and Chase Entertainment of Oakland, Florida have done it again! They have donated 548 new t-shirts and 264 new hats for Haiti. Many thanks to owner David Abram, his secretary Jessica, and T-Pain for their generous donation.

Haiti Relief Fund Food Donations

May 19: Eagle Scout Matt Strobel of Lynbrook NY Organized a local Haiti Relief Fund food drive throughout the Elementary Schools of Lynbrook (including West End, Marion Street and Waverly Park Schools). Pictured above from left to right is Carlo Thertus of HRF, Eagle Scout Brendan Dunn and Eagle Scout Matt Strobel. Matt is still collecting within the Lynbrook community and delivered his first round of non perishable food donations to Haiti Relief Fund. Thanks for all your hard work Matt!
